Monday I found out I had been elected to the governing council of the American Library Association. I got over 2200 votes, which really sort of floored me. This is a file photo from when I visited ALA a few years ago.

linking directly to images has this bad tendency to cause the images to be replaced by raunchy porn and/or emails to your sysadmin, whichever sounds worse. be a good net.citizen, link to the pages the images are on instead.
