These people were the most conventional of the "alternative message" crowd, though their dead baby trucks with the dismembered fetuses splayed all over the side were less traditional.
There has been some really interesting protesting. Since the city is basically a police state, people have had to get creative. My pal Robert told me that one of Team Larouche was standing just outside the metal detector area with a megaphone telling people they needed to remove their shoes before getting scanned. If you could see the guy, you'd know he wasn't an official message man. Many people couldn't see him though, and they arrived at the security area, shoes in hand...
