The parade and subsequent rally by the library was fun with amusing signs and lively folks. I didn't take pictures because I didn't want to be one of those chumps with a camera [even though I know full well I am a chump with a camera].

I like the way the three-cornered hats can look either patriotic or piratic. The protests were not very Kerry-focussed, just very "no more of the same" focussed. It seemed to be confusing to people who were watching it. There were a lot of great things that one could critique about the DNC, the Democrats, or the Boston lockdown, but most of what I saw was more anti-capitalist. Still compelling and yet not taking full advantage of the timeliness of the situation.

There were protestors at the Fleet Center as well as outside the library.
