[I've been
reading]
Agony Hill

This book sounds like it’s going to be rough from the title, but it is not that rough. It’s a 1960’s-era Vermont small town mystery that had a very “this feels real” vibe to it. Of course, I got to the end and realized I know the author’s husband and they live kind of near here, so that might explain some of it. There are a lot of people in this small town most of whom know each other and all of whom have their own stories and they all interact when there’s a new person in town along with (unrelatedly) a new tragedy. The book is clearly setting the stage for more stories to come and I’ll be happy to read them.
